What’s found in the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Black Edition?

It’s no secret that the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander is one of the best-equipped, best-selling and most connected vehicles that Mitsubishi has ever built. With that in mind, the brand has a tradition that goes way back in which they introduce a special Black Edition trim level on vehicles that fit that bill. So, for the 2022 model year, the Outlander will now be available with its very own Black Edition. This bolder, blacked-out version of the vehicle adds a few great features and exclusive design cues, check out the list below.

In addition to everything that is included on the SE trim level, the following enhancements are available in the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Black Edition:

• Power Panoramic Sunroof
• Available Super All-wheel Control
• Black front and rear bumper garnish
• Black door handle trim
• Black side mirrors
• Black headliner
• Black pillars
• 20’ black alloy wheels

Black Edition Specifications

Since the Black Edition version of the 2022 Outlander is built on the SE trim level, it comes equipped with the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. That means it’s capable of generating 181 horsepower alongside 181 pound-feet of torque. It’s able to achieve 24 miles per gallon through the city and 27 mpg on the highway for a combined 31 mpg, but those numbers drop to 24/26/30 mpg when equipped with the optional Super All-Wheel Control drive system.
