A lot of the sedans and small cars on the market have been getting phased out over the past several years, and that includes right here on the Mitsubishi lineup. The Lancer was discontinued in 2017, the Galant and Eclipse before that in 2012, and so on. But the Mitsubishi Mirage and Mirage G4 continue to be excellent choices from the automaker for those car shoppers still looking to get behind the wheel of a traditional car. In fact, the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 even received a few updates for the 2022 model year, so we thought we’d highlight what’s new in the subcompact sedan.

New Standard Features

When it comes to the Mirage G4 as a whole, the main change for the 2022 model year is the addition of a vanity mirror to the passenger side visor of every trim level, as well as the introduction of welcome and departure lighting. In addition, certain trim levels will now offer automatic headlights and rain-sensing windshield wipers as standard features. This includes both the SE and BE trims. That brings us to the final and most exciting change for the 2022 model year, as BE is a brand-new trim level for this model year. You’ve possibly heard of Black Edition Mitsubishi models in the past, and now you can get a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Black Edition.
